The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) was done using the three civil systems that the group members picked. The LCA’s goal was to figure out what kind of environmental impact the integrated system presented here would have. The LCA was based on the sub-system solutions that were determined to emit the least amount of pollution.<\/p>\n

The following environmental implications were taken into account:
\nEmissions of CO2 (in kg)
\nEmissions of SO2 (in kg)
\nEmissions of NOx (in kg)<\/p>\n

The scope of the LCA can vary from system to system because the LCA of this integrated system was a combination of the studies undertaken for our second assignment. As a result, the scope of each sub-system does not always correspond to the scope of the other sub-systems.<\/p>\n

The major purpose is to reduce maintenance time, determine the carbon footprint, and extend the duration between integrated system interventions. These systems release a lot of toxic chemicals that cause air pollution throughout the construction process and their lifetimes, such as CO2, NOx, and SO2, and they also consume or overuse a lot of energy.<\/p>\n
