4. Integrated life-cycle analysis<\/h3>\n

The integrated life-cycle analysis considers the combination of the chosen design options of the four engineering systems from the previous assignment. For that, common design parameters were identified, and the individual life-cycle inventories are combined.\u00a0The environmental impact assessment was extended by an assessment of the cost associated with the impact on the environment. The maintenance interventions specified during the integrated maintenance planning are explicitly considered in the analysis.<\/p>\n
