Goal and scope<\/h3>\n<p>In the previous project assignment different design options of various civil engineering systems were analyzed and compared. A preferred design option was chosen for each system based on its environmental impact.<\/p>\n<p>The objective of this study is to assess an integrated civil engineering system, which is composed of four such individual systems. The assessment is carried out on the basis of environmental impact and cost-effectiveness. For that the life-cycle stages of manufacturing and production, and maintenance are considered.
