{"id":3657,"date":"2021-02-02T10:36:37","date_gmt":"2021-02-02T10:36:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/?page_id=3657"},"modified":"2021-02-23T05:30:10","modified_gmt":"2021-02-23T05:30:10","slug":"2-1-integrated-ontology","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/?page_id=3657","title":{"rendered":"2.1 Integrated Ontology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We integrate our system by adding the lift span from the <a title=\"1.1 Vertical Lift Bridge\" href=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/?page_id=3651\">vertical lift bridge\u00a0<\/a>to the <a title=\"1.3 Prestressed Concrete Viaduct\" href=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/?page_id=3655\">prestressed concrete viaduct<\/a>. Hence, now the viaduct serves as the approach spans of the integrated bridge. Elevating the lift span on the towers of the bridge requires power from some energy source. On the other hand, the <a title=\"1.2 Onshore Wind Turbine\" href=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/?page_id=3653\">wind turbine<\/a>\u00a0generates some power. We also aim to develop integrated stakeholder relations and integrated construction sequences.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Integration<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5903\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5903\" style=\"width: 962px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/OwlViz01.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5903\" src=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/OwlViz01.png\" alt=\"Group 8 - Integrated Ontology\" width=\"962\" height=\"2252\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5903\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Figure 1: Visualisation of the integrated ontology<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In Figure 1 it can be seen that <em>Power<\/em> is automatically connected to both systems (this connection is harnessed to develop the <a title=\"Integrated Parametric Model\" href=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/?page_id=3659\">integrated parametric model<\/a>). This is because of the fact that <em>Power &#8211; is a &#8211; TurbineFunction\u00a0<\/em>as well as\u00a0<em>Power &#8211; is a &#8211; LiftBridgeEnergySource.\u00a0<\/em>Also, common structural components like\u00a0<em>RaftSubstructure, AbutmentSubstructure <\/em>and<em> PileSubstructure<\/em>\u00a0are reflected in the graph.<i>\u00a0<\/i>Also, as visible in the figure some of the construction materials like\u00a0<em>ConcereteMaterial, SteelMaterial\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>BitumenMaterial\u00a0<\/em>are common to either three or two of the systems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">All though both the verticle lift bridge and the viaduct <em>hasMaterial &#8211; some &#8211; BitumentMaterial.<\/em>\u00a0However, the instances are different. The vertical lift bridge has the instance\u00a0<em>Pave1 <\/em>(Pavement Material) and the viaduct has the instance <em>BitumentBoard<\/em> (Compressible Fill and Joint Material) for the <em>BitumenMaterial<\/em>. Here we also observe that the construction of the components of the viaduct and lift bridge are dependent.
