For example, generally it can be said: The bigger the Airport, the bigger the Runway(s), the bigger the Hangars and Tunnels for supply and\/or traffic.<\/p>\n<p>More concrete: An Airbus A380 requires a runway length of 2900 metres and a width of 60 metres. If an airport wants to handle planes like an Airbus A380, the hangar needs to be big enough to fit the huge airplane.<\/p>\n<p>The parameters of the tunnel that are influenced by the other parts of the system are the thickness of the tubbing (which loads are above the tunnel).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In this chapter the combined ontology of the three parts of the system, runway, tunnel and hangar is displayed.
