Because of its high recurrence over the 80-year life cycle, even a small change in its periodicity can significantly influence the total number of intervention days. The objective of this test is therefore to evaluate the effect of extending its intervention interval by one year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After applying this single modification, the total number of maintenance intervention days over the 80-year service life decreases to 501 days, compared to 550 days in the initial uncoordinated strategy. This represents 49 fewer maintenance days, corresponding to a 9.7% reduction in total intervention time. This result highlights an important insight: even a very small adjustment in the frequency of a highly recurrent maintenance task can have a disproportionately large impact on overall system availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
