The site conditions are defined by steep topography, elevation differences, and expected rainfall, all of which strongly influence how the systems must be positioned and connected. In such locations, construction is technically demanding and costly, and design errors related to distances, slopes, or elevation levels can lead to safety risks or poor system performance. For this reason, system performance in this project is mainly controlled by geometry, elevation differences, and proximity constraints rather than detailed material or structural design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The integrated system consists of four main subsystems: a helipad platform, a reinforced-concrete retaining wall, a gravity-based drainage system, and a strip foundation planned for a future seedbank building. These systems are not independent; their functionality depends on how they interact spatially. For example, the retaining wall controls terrain stability and defines safe zones, the drainage system relies on elevation differences to function under gravity, and both the helipad and foundation must be placed at safe distances from the retaining wall. Understanding these interactions at an early stage is essential to avoid unsafe layouts or non-functional drainage later in the design process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To support this integrated approach, parametric modelling was carried out using <strong>Dynamo<\/strong>, where the geometry of the systems, their relative positions, and key parameters such as wall height, distances, pipe slope, and pipe diameter were defined and tested. In parallel, <strong>Prot\u00e9g\u00e9<\/strong> was used to describe the systems and their relationships at a conceptual level, ensuring a clear and consistent representation of how the subsystems interact. Two <strong>High Performance Criterias<\/strong> (HF) were introduced to evaluate system performance: <strong>HF1<\/strong>, which checks safety distances relative to the retaining wall, and <strong>HF2<\/strong>, which evaluates whether the drainage system functions under gravity using the Manning equation.
