{"id":2575,"date":"2020-01-30T13:32:06","date_gmt":"2020-01-30T13:32:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/?page_id=2575"},"modified":"2021-01-25T10:08:22","modified_gmt":"2021-01-25T10:08:22","slug":"life-cycle-analysis","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/?page_id=2575","title":{"rendered":"3 Life Cycle Analysis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) gives ideally a good prediction and on the system environmental impact over its entire lifetime.<br \/>\nIn this case we are focussing on three systems a <a href=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/?page_id=2569\">hangar<\/a>, a <a href=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/?page_id=2567\">runway<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/?page_id=2571\">foundation<\/a>, that are part of an airport and are interacting with each other in different ways. For the LCA we are taking the total consumption or energy, CO<sub>2<\/sub>, NOx and S0<sub>2 <\/sub>into account and will measure their value by assigning a certain cost to ort the different emissions and the energy consumption.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Cost.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3320 size-medium aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Cost-300x146.png\" alt=\"cost\" width=\"300\" height=\"146\" srcset=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Cost-300x146.png 300w, http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Cost-520x253.png 520w, http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Cost.png 602w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In order to conduct the LCA it was necessary to create a function that calculates the required quantities of raw materials and determent the final emissions and the energy consumption for the whole system that has been used during the mere construction and the maintenance.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Height of the Frame<\/li>\n<li>Width of the Frame<\/li>\n<li>Total Height of the Frame<\/li>\n<li>Length of the Runway<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the following we are using a step scaling the step scaling analysis to visualise and to analyse our systems. The domains for our different parameters are the following:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/ParameterMinMax.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-3323\" src=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/ParameterMinMax-1024x165.png\" alt=\"parameterminmax\" width=\"683\" height=\"110\" srcset=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/ParameterMinMax-1024x165.png 1024w, http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/ParameterMinMax-300x48.png 300w, http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/ParameterMinMax-520x84.png 520w, http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/ParameterMinMax-740x119.png 740w, http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/ParameterMinMax.png 1758w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Two different scenarios are presented for either steel frame (see <a href=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/?page_id=2569\">Hangar<\/a>) PCC (see <a href=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/?page_id=2567\">Runway<\/a>) with Bottom 1 (see<a href=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/?page_id=2571\"> Bottom Plate<\/a>) or a timber frame with HMA and bottom1.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Steel Frame PCC Bottom1<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It can be seen in fig. 1 and fig 2 that for all systems except the seating the cost rises simultaneously with the higher values for the input parameter. So generally, it can be said that we do have a almost linear rising const for almost all systems relative to the input parameters. The most dominant cost factor in terms of the systems is the runaway cost.<br \/>\nIn terms of the emissions and energy consumption in fig. 2 it can be seen, that all factors rise with increasing parameters. The cost for seatings do not vary at all while all other systems behave in a linear manner additionally it can be seen that the Runway do exceed the seating cost eventually.<br \/>\nIn Fig.4 Shows the cost development regarding to the different emissions or the energy consumption.
