Each group member developed a model in previous assignments, focusing on different civil engineering systems. The key objectives of this integration are:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>To establish meaningful connections between different civil engineering systems while maintaining the integrity of individual models.<\/li>\n<li>To resolve challenges related to the varying scope of models, such as differences between physical components and maintenance strategies.<\/li>\n<li>To refine and unify ontological representations by reducing redundancies and incorporating missing parameters.<\/li>\n<li>To create an interconnected parametric model where system relationships influence key design attributes.<\/li>\n<li>To present the integration effectively through a structured website and live demonstration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Overview of the Urban System<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Our integrated urban system consists of four main components:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Residential Building:<\/strong> A low-rise structure placed within the urban setting.<\/li>\n<li><strong>High-Rise Framed Tube Structure:<\/strong> A structural system optimized for tall buildings.<\/li>\n<li><strong>High-Rise Building:<\/strong> A conventional high-rise with different performance parameters.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bridge (Maintenance Focus):<\/strong> A bridge system primarily studied for its maintenance strategies rather than physical design.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The challenge was to connect these systems in a meaningful way while accommodating their differing scopes and parameters.
