{"id":11958,"date":"2023-02-07T13:11:01","date_gmt":"2023-02-07T13:11:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/?page_id=11958"},"modified":"2023-02-14T02:30:12","modified_gmt":"2023-02-14T02:30:12","slug":"lca","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/?page_id=11958","title":{"rendered":"LCA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is an effective method for evaluating the environmental impact of various systems.<br \/>\nThis study evaluated five civil systems: a Steel Bridge, a Timber Bridge, an Airport Pavement, a Multistorey Building, and PV panels. It aimed to reduce maintenance time, increase lifespan, and understand the carbon footprint of each system.<br \/>\nIn addition to analyzing CO2, SO2, and NOx emissions, the LCA also examined energy consumption. This study focuses on the sub-systems with the lowest pollution levels. To understand the impact of the integrated system over its entire life cycle, a life cycle analysis was performed. Based on the materials used in each system, the LCI (Life Cycle Inventory) was created (Table 1).<\/p>\n<figure>\n  <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"small-image aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/141.23.68.248\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/photo_2023-02-12_21-29-56.jpg\" alt=\"Table 1\" width=\"460,8\" height=\"387,2\" \/><figcaption style=\"font-size: smaller; text-align: center;\">Table 1<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Both the LCI value and the environmental cost were considered during the LCA.<br \/>\nEnergy consumption and GHG emission results for the integrated design options.
