<\/p>\nThe ontology for the observation tower located in a forest park integrates the various supporting systems to facilitate movement and maintenance. The development of this OWL ontology integrates the components of the construction of the park located on a small hill and presents a clear overview of the main classes. Efforts were made to avoid redundant information and new classes were added to meet the demands of the integrated system. Object properties were used to establish connections between classes from different ontologies, providing a more comprehensive understanding of the tower and its components.<\/p>\n
During the development process, we encountered a challenge that required us to change the purpose of the initial pavement system. Initially, the pavement system was designed to be a runway rigid pavement. However, this type of pavement was not in line with the chosen urban system.\u00a0As a result, we had to modify the purpose of the pavement system to match the urban system. We changed the pavement to a design that was better suited to the overall vision of the integrated urban system and that could be harmoniously integrated with the surrounding environment. This change was a significant milestone in the development of the ontology and demonstrated the importance of having a flexible and adaptable data structure that can evolve to meet the needs of the system.<\/p>\n
The goal of the ontology integration\u00a0was to create a concise and comprehensive main class structure. To achieve this objective, the four merged ontologies were thoroughly reviewed and any extra or unnecessary classes were removed. These classes provide a comprehensive overview of the system and enable the tracking of information and data in an organized and standardized manner which provide a better understanding of the system and enable more informed decision-making processes.\u00a0This made the overall structure of the ontology more straightforward. To further enhance the integrated nature of the ontology, object properties were used to establish connections between classes from the different ontologies.\u00a0The data\u00a0properties of the combined ontology play an important role in describing the geometric information of the various components that make up the integrated urban system. The result was an ontology that was clearer and more organized, making it easier to understand the information and data related to the integrated urban system.<\/p>\n
